The patches are symbolic of beautiful torn apart and forgotten episodes of our past who make us the person we are today. You know, the heartbreak back in the day that taught you how to love, or the job you were fired from that opened up another opportunity for you. Those are all beautiful patches of our everyday lives painting a vivid picture. The good and the not so good. 

Each Shirt, Pant, Sweater etc, is personally cut out and sewn by me. No two clothing pieces are alike. They are all one of a kind like we are.
